offer you alternative properties that will meet your needs.
CONFIRMATION
If property
is available, and you decide to rent, we will send a Reservation Confirmation
requesting deposit, and detailing when final payment is due.
DEPOSIT
Heavenly Travel 2000 will confirm your reservation via email or phone. However, a deposit must be paid to finally confirm this reservation. The amount of this deposit is 25% of the total rental amount. A 50% deposit confirms villa reservations for rental periods including
Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years or Easter. Full balance payment is due no later than
90 days prior to occupancy. This deposit is due within 14 days of booking to confirm and guarantee your reservation. Failure to make this payment subjects your reservation to cancellation. Deposit payment can be made by Major Credit Cards via Paypal, Personal
Check, Money Order or bank wire transfer. Deposits on Christmas and
New Years rentals differ.
DAMAGE DEPOSIT
A $500 damage deposit is required for any villa rental and is refundable within 10 days of return from travel. Any damages incurred to the villa will be deducted from this deposit before the balance of deposit is returned. Villa management will provide receipts as proof for repairs.
FINAL PAYMENT
Upon confirmation of the reservation, Heavenly Travel 2000 will issue a reservation confirmation setting forth the total rental amount, deposit credited, and total balance due. Final and total payment on this invoice must reach Heavenly Travel 2000 not later than 60 days prior to commencement of the rental period. For holiday periods (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years and Easter), we require final payment 90 days prior to occupancy. Your invoice will specify the requirements.
CANCELLATION
Heavenly Travel 2000 will give a refund for cancellation 61 days prior to departure date, excluding Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years and Easter. Less than 60 days a refund will be given ONLY if the property can be rented. For peace of mind, Heavenly Travel 2000 strongly recommends trip cancellation insurance. No-shows, late arrivals, change in number of persons in your group after arrival, and early departures are all non-refundable. All cancellations and any requests for changes to your reservation (such as date changes or changes in the number of persons in your group) must be made in writing, and faxed, emailed or mailed to us promptly. A 20% cancellation fee will be charged on all cancellations. For holiday rentals (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years and Easter), cancellation is allowed 91 or more days prior to departure date. NO REFUNDS ON CANCELLATIONS WITHIN 90 DAYS OF OCCUPANCY FOR HOLIDAY RENTALS. Again, we require notification in writing of all cancellations.
HURRICANE POLICY
If you are traveling to Jamaica between August and November, please note that this is considered hurricane season. In the event of flight cancellations due to a hurricane, Heavenly Travel 2000 will do everything possible to help with either extending your vacation or rescheduling at another time. We would encourage you to purchase trip cancellation insurance to protect your investment as villa owners are not required to refund rent.
SERVICES INCLUDED/EXCLUDED
Except where specifically noted in the detailed property descriptions and/or in Heavenly Travel 2000's final letter of confirmation, rental prices include utilities, villa staff including cook, maid, gardener, laundress, and evening security guard. The cost of food, liquor and gratuities are added to the villa rental price by Heavenly Travel 2000, or food and liquor can be purchased upon arrival, as the cook can assist you with your shopping needs.However, this amount does not include food or liquor bought by the client outside of the villa during their occupancy period. Specifically excluded from the rental price are costs for telephone, nanny or babysitter, guide, chauffeur, automobile, lessons, internet access, etc. If such services are offered at all, they are payable directly from the client to the person providing this service.
COMPLAINTS AND MAINTENANCE
Heavenly Travel 2000 shall make every effort to keep all villas and their inventories in good working order. No refund or rate adjustment shall be made for unforeseen mechanical failures such as the supply of electricity, water, pool filtration systems, air conditioning, hot tubs, whirlpools, television, cable service, appliances, etc. Clients should attempt to deal with problems on the spot through their villa staff manager (typically your cook or butler). If a major problem occurs which cannot be satisfactorily dealt with, clients should immediately call the villa property managers (please consult your villa staff for contact details). Vacating the property will not be considered sufficient cause to claim a refund. If the problem is justified and not solvable, clients must give villa property managers the opportunity to find suitable replacement accommodation. All replacement accommodations will be at the same villa category or higher. If the client will not accept the replacement accommodations, the client may vacate the property and a refund will be issued minus a cancellation service charge of 50%. The nights that were spent at the villa will not be included in the refund. All nights where the villa was occupied will be charged at a pro-rated nightly rate (weekly rate divided by seven). In no event will a claim for refund be entertained if lodged after the end of the rental period.
ENTRY INTO THE VILLA
Villa property managers or its staff may enter your villa to perform any maintenance or repairs as necessary. We will make every effort to schedule these visits at a time convenient to you, to respect your privacy, and not interrupt your vacation.
DURATION
Generally, rentals are from Saturday between 2:00 and 7:00 p.m. to Saturday before 12:00 noon. Minimum rental is four nights for most of our villas. Accommodations on arrival/departure time can be made depending on if the property is rented or not.
CAPACITY OF VILLAS
The number of persons occupying the property must not exceed the number stated in the confirmation letter, nor can it ever exceed the stated capacity of the property. Six people means 6 people of whatever age. If individuals are added to the party, the client agrees to notify Heavenly Travel 2000 immediately. Should a group misrepresent themselves, they will be required to pay for the excess person immediately, or shall vacate the villa without refund. Exceptions are made only for infants; if sleeping in a baby crib and not occupying one of the villa's beds, they are not included in the villa's total headcount.
PROPERTY DESCRIPTIONS
All descriptions and information such as distances, house data, rates, etc., are given in good faith. Heavenly Travel 2000 is not liable for any minor errors or inaccuracies in the property descriptions, rates, etc. in any of its literature or website.
QUIET ENJOYMENT AND PARTIES
Heavenly Travel 2000 wishes to maintain a family atmosphere for the quiet enjoyment of guests. We rent to family groups and responsible adults only. Absolutely NO house parties or functions such as weddings are allowed without advance WRITTEN permission from Heavenly Travel 2000. Guests shall be sufficiently quiet and peaceful, so as not to disturb other residents of the neighborhood.
VILLA SECURITY (NON-GUEST POLICY)
All of our villas attempt to maintain good security. Non-guests cannot be brought back to any of the villas rented by Heavenly Travel 2000. Under no circumstances will non-guests be allowed access to the villa property unless they have been pre-approved by Heavenly Travel 2000 in advance of your trip. In addition, the staff in each villa are instructed not to allow non-guests access to the villa. Of course, this does not include your family or friends who may be staying at another villa/hotel or reside in Jamaica. This is for your personal safety and protection.
LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY
Each and every property offered has been inspected and maintained by their respective villa managers, and we believe they are safe for occupancy. However, no warranty of safety is made by Heavenly Travel 2000. Clients should use reasonable caution appropriate for living in a foreign country and in a house that is located possibly on the ocean and with a swimming pool. Heavenly Travel 2000 is acting as an agent for accommodations, and assumes no liability for property loss or damages, nor liability for injury, accidents, delay or irregularity. Transportation (airlines, rental cars, taxis, vans, livery), is supplied by providers who operate independently of Heavenly Travel 2000. We assume no responsibility for any loss, injury, or damage to persons or property because of the acts of those providers or by acts of God. Specifically the client expressly releases Heavenly Travel 2000 from any and all liability for personal injury or death occurring for whatever reason at one of its rental properties or transportation.
INTERPRETATIONS AND DISPUTES
These conditions constitute the entire agreement of Heavenly Travel 2000 and the client, and they shall not be modified except in writing.
